Nubian Dairy Goats had been an interest for some time and in 2001 we finally purchased our first does from Bob Blades who lived near Longton, Kanas. Through a fortunate acquisition we were able to purchase a son of Smooth Operator, CH Foremost Smooth II, picured in the graphic at the top of each page on this site. He has significantly improved the herd and we have retained a number of his offspring. I enjoy showing them especially when someone wins his or her class, or even wins a leg on their Championship.
They are registered with ADGA under the herd name "Jan's Kids".In 2006 and 2008 we took part in the American Dairy Goat Association Linear Appraisal program and we look forward to milk testing in the future. |
